UFC 109 Wrap-Up

Here is my quick wrap up on UFC109, first of all Coleman should not have even been in the cage, what was going on there?

It seems that we may have finally heard the last of Trigg in what seems to be a string of televised defeats, regardless of what he can do off camera he always shows up for his ass whoopin on TV.

Swick lost to Thiago basically because it appeared that Swick was to tenative and was not really pushing the fight, I think Swick was just to caught up in the chance of a title shot. Swick when he had nothing to lose always seemed to push harder and faster.

As for Nate, who really expected Sonnen to come out there and just beat on him for three straight rounds? Sonnen looked really impressive and his wrestling is outstanding, I just hated to see Marquardt get beat down like that. I had even been considering a rematch against Silva for the belt was in Nates future but Chael Sonnen had other plans. Overall the card was OK but definitely not one of the greatest, that Couture vs Coleman match??? I just do not know what to say about the most lopsided match I have ever seen. Couture had so many ways to win and he did exactly that with a Ju-Jitsu 101 rear naked choke.
